Possible Finishings
Polished
This finishing enhances the beautiful grey colour of the limestones presented here. The surface is smooth and plain, with a shiny look. It is commonly found on interior flooring.
Honed
This finishing is plain and does not show any shine. The honed finishing reveals a lighter coloured limestone, which is recommended for external cladding.
Bush-Hammered
This finishing has a corrugated appearance, usually lightning up a dark grey limestone. Its surface is characterized by its salience and roughness, which is highly recommended for exterior flooring.
Brushed
Finishing with a corrugated appearance, but keeping the original grey colour. Its surface has a certain salience and smoothness, being recommended for flooring and other external applications.
Flamed
Finishing with a light rough, irregular and rustic appearance, where the dark grey colour turns into light grey. Its surface is characterized by its salience and roughness, which is perfect for exterior flooring.
Scratched
Type of finishing done with a scratching device, giving the natural stone an appearance of a parallel farmed field. It has a very light grey colour and medium roughness. It is commonly used in paving.
Split-face
This type of finishing is special and used on very specific applications. It presents the appearance of parallel lines, with rough surface. This finishing is increasingly popular for exterior cladding.
